Yamaha Music Australia is giving emerging Australian music creators the chance to win $5,000 in cash and $5,000 worth of Yamaha gear to help get them on their way to the Main Stage.

• Must consist of two or more members.
• Must perform primarily original music.
• Entry must be submitted on behalf of the band.
• Submitted track must feature the band performing together.

• Open to individual artists only.
• Must be the primary songwriter of the submitted work.
• May perform under their own name or an artist/project name.
• Submitted track must feature original songwriting

Music and studio production - For producers, beatmakers, composers, recording engineers and creators whose primary focus is music production. 

• Open to individual artists only.
• Must have played a lead role in producing, recording, composing, arranging or mixing the submitted work
• Vocal performance is not required.
• Entries may include instrumental works, electronic music, beats, film or game compositions, or fully produced
