Purpose
The Variety Heart Scholarship is a competitive scholarship designed to support children with an existing talent who are living with a disability, chronic illness, financial hardship or geographic isolation.
Overview
Scholarships provide funding to support the next stage of development in a child's chosen field, covering costs such as coaching, equipment, uniforms, lessons and other essential resources.
Eligibility
Variety Heart Scholarships are available to children aged 6 to 17 years who live in Queensland and are Australian citizens or permanent residents. Applicants must demonstrate an existing talent in the arts, education or sport and who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with disabilities in Queensland.
