Creative Australia is offering 20 professional development opportunities for Intermediate and Advanced arts fundraisers with the Fundraising Institute Australasia.

The opportunity includes:

• one ticket to the FIA National Conference on the Gold Coast, from 24 to 26 February 2027
• attendance in FIA's three-day online course, Gifts in Wills Fundraising: From A to Z
• travel support, if required and approved.

Eligible arts organisations can nominate one staff member with private sector fundraising responsibility to participate in this professional development through the FIA.

The nominated participant must:

• have responsibility for fundraising within the organisation. This may include people in dedicated fundraising roles, as well as those in broader management, executive or governance roles where fundraising forms part of their responsibilities
• demonstrate fundraising experience that aligns with the Intermediate or Advanced level in the Private Investment Capability Framework
• be ready to apply the learnings to the organisation's private sector fundraising practice and priorities.

The conference provides broad professional learning across fundraising practice. The course provides training on how to start and manage a Gifts in Wills program.

Places are limited. We will only support one participant per organisation.

This opportunity is open to Australian arts organisations that:

• are operating with the primary purpose of providing arts and cultural opportunities for Australian artists and audiences
• employ a nominated staff member with responsibility for fundraising
• support the nominated staff member's participation in the opportunity
• nominate one participant only
• are based in Australia.

The nominated participant must:

• have responsibility for fundraising within the organisation. This may include people in dedicated fundraising roles, as well as those in broader management, executive or governance roles where fundraising forms part of their responsibilities.
• demonstrate fundraising experience and responsibility that aligns with the Intermediate or Advanced level in the Private Investment Capability Framework
• be ready to apply the learnings to the organisation's fundraising practice and priorities.
