Bundanon's Artists in Residence program is the largest initiative of its kind in Australia. Operating as an annual call-out for applications, the program provides a unique opportunity for artists and researchers from all creative disciplines, both domestic and international.

The 2027 Artists in Residence program accepts applications from individuals, collaborative groups, and incorporated companies. Whether you're an emerging talent or an established professional, we invite you to apply.

The program champions experiment a on and welcomes proposals for new ideas and bold projects from diverse voices across all arts disciplines. Bundanon is looking for proposals that present new ideas, explore form and direct on and encourage deep diving into creative practice. This program suits self-directed artists ready to experiment, take creative risks, and grow their practice.

Successful applicants must sign a residency agreement and pay a $250 bond to secure their residency spot. This must be paid within 14 days of the invoice issue date. This bond will be returned upon comple on of the residency but will be forfeited if the residency is cancelled, keys are not returned, or if damages, including missing equipment are incurred.

Who can apply

• Practicing/professional artists across all disciplines and career stages, and curators/researchers
• All artists involved in the proposal must be 18 years or over
• Collaborative groups, and incorporated companies that undertake artistic practice
  Australian and international applicants

Who cannot apply

• Individuals who have undertaken a residency at Bundanon within the last five years
• Individuals under 18 years of age
• Applicants will be asked to confirm their eligibility as part of the application process.
